A wedding day is an exhilarating experience full of many details and fleeting moments. Sometimes the day goes by so fast that it's hard to remember everything that happened. As wedding photographers, it is our job to capture these moments for you. You will be able to look through your photos for years to come and remember each special moment. The slideshow above shows a common photography progression for the wedding day. We start with photos of the dress, the bride getting ready, photos of the wedding party, details, ceremony, and then reception.
How does the booking process begin? After you have looked through our photos and know that our style is a fit for you, send us a message at [email protected] or fill out a form on this page to receive a wedding price package. If you know your wedding date, let us know so that we can see if we are available. Also, if you have picked a venue, share that with us so that we can tell you if there will be any travel fees. What happens when you are getting ready to book? We also like to set up meetings with our couples to learn more about their wedding day and discuss their photography needs. This meeting could happen via Skype, phone call, or at Starbucks. Once you pay your $50 deposit to secure your wedding date, we will set up a payment plan for you, send you a survey to learn more about your wedding, and also send you a most important shot list along with a wedding timeline. Since a wedding flies by so fast, we want to make sure that we know your plans so that we can always be in the right place at the right time to capture your shots. You might have some specific shots that you want, so you can share those with us. We also love to look at Pinterest boards with your ideas. All wedding packages come with two photographers, so this maximizes the amount of coverage at your wedding. What happens before the wedding day? Before your wedding, you will probably want to schedule an engagement session. The engagement shots document your special time and can be used for save the date cards or displayed at your reception. Taking the majority of the bridal shots before the big day allows you to save some time on your wedding day. Also, it's a chance to get some great shots at a different location than the venue and give you photos to display at the reception. The bridal session also allows for a chance to try the fit of your dress before the big day and see how your hair and makeup photograph. What happens on the wedding day? During the wedding day, we will follow the wedding photography timeline we planned together. We understand that things happen on wedding days and some things may change, so we will be flexible. We will remind the bride and groom when it's time to take bridal party photos, family photos, and family photo groupings, etc. Before the ceremony begins, we will photograph the bride and groom getting ready, small details, decorations, guests coming in, the ceremony, the reception, and the getaway. Check out the slideshow above to view some of the photos that are taken throughout a typical wedding day. What happens after the wedding? Within a few days after the wedding, we will post several sneak peek photos to our social media accounts. Within three weeks, we will have sent you a link to your online gallery where you can begin viewing, downloading, and sharing some of your wedding photos. The complete wedding gallery will be finished within six to eight weeks. Depending on your wedding package, you will be able to choose the prints and other items once the gallery is complete. |
